Ana
This model was thin but she also had muscles. Her belly was decorated with a six pack! She said that this was only because of genetic luck and not because she was training. Painted Ana at two occasions; first time was 18th of September. I made a drawing and then I started painting. After one hour I found out that I had to start all over again. So then I started on the next painting. On 25th of September I continued on the second painting.
Later I see that the left arm of the model is looking strange. For the rest it is… what it is. The face is not similar to the model. This challenge haunts me but on the same time I feel okay about it as long as I achieve something else; that the face looks nice or something.
This was painted on hardboard plywood that I prepared this summer. Size is 30 by 40cm.
