The course “drawing model and portrait”, at de Kunstlinie 2011, took on a new challenge on 23 November: color crayons. The paper was huge and the model was decorated with flowers.
This year the models on this course are more dressed. I thought this with undressed naked people was a non-issue on a course like this but apparently somehow someone of the participants cannot deal with nakedness. That is fine too.
I tried to make the face of the model as accurate as I could. That was not so much this evening. The flowers somehow got inflated and the feet were not so easy either. I think I was pretty tired this evening and the real achievement was how I was drawing the legs. Iwona was helpful to point out to me how the curves of the legs looked like and that on some places on my drawing this was the opposite of the curves that I had been drawing.
I was born 1967 in Stockholm, Sweden. I grew up in the small village Vågdalen in north Sweden. 1989 I moved to Umeå to study Computer Science at University of Umeå. 1995 I moved to the Netherlands where I live in Almere not far from Amsterdam.
Here on this site I let you see my creations.
I create, that is my hobby.
