A proper crossover feels fantastic!
The 23 February the motion theme continued at Aquarelmere but this time it was people in motion. I had decided to paint the speed ice skater, Shani Davis. I dressed him in other clothing! There you see that creativity is not just a question of color and form and shape but also about what the text should be on the clothing of Shani Davis.
I have actually practiced some speed ice skating. It is an absolutely fantastic feeling when you overcome the gravity in the curves while you are doing the crossover. People who can ice skate properly are having a really nice movement. It requires a lot of practice to achieve this. It is not so simple.
Anyway, I painted this painting because I like the feeling of the crossover.
I was born 1967 in Stockholm, Sweden. I grew up in the small village Vågdalen in north Sweden. 1989 I moved to Umeå to study Computer Science at University of Umeå. 1995 I moved to the Netherlands where I live in Almere not far from Amsterdam.
Here on this site I let you see my creations.
I create, that is my hobby.
