Perspective exercise 2009
Sometimes I noticed how difficult it can be with the rules of perspective. I arranged a theme evening about perspective at Aquarelmere were I told about these rules. As an exercise I came up with this still-life. For this exercise it was important that the items were standing on a small cloth and that the various pots had different heights and shape.
The cloth has four sides and the sides further away needs to be shorter than the sides nearer the viewer. The lower pots should have rounder openings while the pots with the opening near the horizon should have thinner openings. Little rules like these improve the quality of drawings a lot.
I was born 1967 in Stockholm, Sweden. I grew up in the small village Vågdalen in north Sweden. 1989 I moved to Umeå to study Computer Science at University of Umeå. 1995 I moved to the Netherlands where I live in Almere not far from Amsterdam.
Here on this site I let you see my creations.
I create, that is my hobby.
